Tulle will retain its original whiteness longer if before washing first shake it from dust, and then soak in cool water with salt, without powder. Then it can be washed, but also in cool water. From hot water it will quickly lose its whiteness. I will definitely turn on the machine for an extra rinse. You can add a spoonful of vinegar when rinsing - so the tulle will shine in the sun.
If you squeeze it at low speeds, then in the wet state, the tulle can immediately be hung on the window. Under his own weight he will recover, then ironing will not need.
An interesting fact is that in many countries tulle is not hung on windows, only blinds. Therefore, you can’t even find it on sale.
