Fashion designer Dasha Gauser remembered her childhood and created an amazing collection in honor of the most famous doll in the world.

Collection Show Dasha Gauser for Barbie held as part Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia spring-summer 2013 season. This is a new, original perusal of the Barbie style - a doll that has become a standard of beauty for many girls.
“When creating this collection, I wanted to feel like a child and look at fashion with his eyes. Therefore, I easily experimented with the cut, adding an element of the game to the creative process,” - says designer Dasha Gauser.
Fashionable cocktail dresses are diluted with "children's" elements: crowns of various shapes, a plane on a corset or a boat, as if folded from paper and floating on waves drawn by felt-tip pens. All silhouettes are feminine, fitted - with flounces, basques or fluffy skirts. The collection has many associations: in particular, the usual pink gamma for Barbie was used. To avoid pretentiousness, the designer “tamed” the pink color through white, making their combination feminine delicate, or through black, creating a tonal contrast. And, of course, as a tribute to the first legendary Barbie, released in 1959, the collection contains a similar to her swimsuit body in black and white stripes.
Katya Starshova (Pugovka from the series "Daddy's Daughters") and Stefaniya Malikova (daughter of the famous singer and composer Dmitry Malikov) took part in the show of children's models from Dasha Gauser.
The brand Barbie® It has long been collaborating with the best fashion houses and designers around the world, and for Russian designers this is the first "test of the pen." Dasha Gauser notes: "It was interesting for me to work on the collection primarily because it is an absolutely unforgettable, unique experience. Creating dresses that will appeal to both inveterate fashionistas and very young people is not an easy and exciting task."
