There is more talk around the first lady of the United States than about the president himself. We decided to look at the evolution of the style of Melania Trump and how she managed to turn from a model into a real style icon.
Published by whitehouseelegance (@whitehouseelegance) Apr 22 2017 at 4:48 PDTThe current first lady of the United States, Melania Trump, has not always been distinguished by her impeccable taste. She was born into a relatively poor family in Yugoslavia, and in the early years of her career, it was quite difficult for her to competently present herself. In 1996, she was first seen with Donald Trump. Who would have thought then that in 2016 Melania would be the mistress of the White House.
Posted by MELANIA TRUMP WORLD (@melaniatrumpworld) Feb 1 2017 at 4:38 PSTIn her younger years, Melanya preferred candid outfits, tanning and acrylic nails on her hands. And in her neck, it seems, it was possible to drown. Dresses in the style of “baby dollars”, evening dresses of the “mermaid” style or dresses with a deep cut almost to the hip are the favorite styles of the model in those years.
It is worth saying that the first lady to this day prefers frank outfits, a style that, of course, is much more restrained. The color scheme of her wardrobe is divided into two periods. Before meeting with Donald Trump, she wore exclusively monochrome tones (black and white). And then I fell in love with bright fuchsia. Of the designers at that time, she preferred Michael Kors, J. Mendel, Gucci, and Manolo Blahnik - remains her favorite brand of shoes to this day.
“I wear what I like, and through my clothes I tell my own story,” she said in one of the many interviews.

And, of course, no neckline. With the status of the first lady, stylists replaced sexuality with infantility in her wardrobe, placing business images with flared sleeves, a coat of pastel shades and skirts below the knee. It is worth saying that outfits of strict styles with an emphasized shoulder line are very to her face.

It is noteworthy that after her appearance in a dress of fuchsia color during the election campaign the next day, presidential contender Hilary Clinton appeared in a dress of a similar color. It is worth noting that this is an absolutely atypical choice for the former Mrs. Clinton, and usually she prefers only calm tones.
Posted by MELANIA TRUMP WORLD (@melaniatrumpworld) Apr 7 2017 at 5:42 PDTBy the way, it is interesting that in one of the old interviews to the question of what kind of president she would have become, if she had such an opportunity, Mrs. Trump replied that she would be a traditional first lady. And not without reason now they compare her with Jacqueline Kennedy. One has only to look at the outfit from Ralph Lauren with the romantic name "Blue Sky", in which she appeared on the day of the inauguration of Donald.

It is important to note that Lauren is currently her favorite among designers, and given that at the moment he is one of America's most respected designers, Melania’s choice can be interpreted as an attempt to declare that she is going to become the country's most fashionable first lady.
Posted by MELANIA TRUMP WORLD (@melaniatrumpworld) Mar 20, 2017 at 4:50 PDTIn conclusion, we can only agree with the words of Pamela Kio, biographer Jacqueline Kennedy, who is sure that Mrs. Trump should not be underestimated, because by her beauty, intelligence and her own opinion, she can really easily become the new Jackie.
