As often happens, the fashion trend arose from a seemingly insignificant detail - it became popular among teenage girls to put on their old dad's shirt during household chores and gardening. At the same time, they tied the floors of the shirt in a knot to emphasize the waist, and covertly twisted the sleeves.

Very soon, clothing designers drew attention to this trend and began to mass produce shirts and blouses in the men's style. The most popular shades in this case were pink, blue, red, sea wave, black and white. A variety of prints were also in great demand: from cages and peas to tropical ones.

That is why, when manufacturers began to offer bright nylon and other synthetic fabrics that practically did not crumple, women snapped up such blouses completely, despite the fact that the skin in them did not breathe at all. Moreover, cotton blouses began to be considered old-fashioned, "for the poor", and only synthetics starched to a crunch were real chic.
