How to stitch a backpack

Lightweight, comfortable, made of silver fabric lame - this backpack is suitable for trips to the office, and for walks on city streets.

Thanks to our detailed, step-by-step master class, you will be able to sew it without difficulty, even if you only learn to sew.

YOU WILL NEED: paper, lame fabric (1 m wide, 135 cm), volumenfliz
Н 650, hammer, paper and cutting scissors, pencil, square, threads, pins, scale ruler, hollow rivets, hook-hooks (Prym), silver ribbon, leather ribbons.


STEP 1
Fold the paper in half, draw a rectangle (60 x 23 cm). Set aside 5 cm along the sides of the corner and draw an oblique line. As shown in the photo, measure 11 cm from the corner; from this mark along the longitudinal cut, draw an allowance 1 cm wide.


STEP 2
Lay out a paper pattern, cut 4 parts of a backpack from a lama fabric and 2 parts from a volumenfliz. Chip off 2 pieces of llama fabric with 1 part of volumenfliz.


STEP 3
Grind slices of chipped parts with allowances 1 cm wide, leave straight slices 48 cm long open. At the corners, cut the seam allowances obliquely, and cut in the corners. Turn out ...

STEP 4... in this case, parts from volumenfliz lie between parts made of llama fabric. Iron. Chip both the received parts of the backpack, securing the leather strap slightly obliquely in each side seam at a distance of 15 cm from the bottom.

STEP 5 Download details. Fold your backpack according to the photo.Sew stitches on both lower corners, 7 cm apart, at right angles. Turn the backpack face out.

STEP 6 On the front side of the backpack in the middle (at a distance of 20 cm from the top edge) fasten the hook-carabiner with a short piece of leather tape and 2 hollow rivets, having previously strengthened this place from the inside.

STEP 7 Wrap the top edge of the backpack down to the front side, pin a silver ribbon with the other hook-hook to the back side of the backpack, stitch. Stitch the ends of the tape to the ends of the leather straps.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: From silk paper to make a pattern. Cut and sew the backpack according to the step-by-step instructions in the magazine on page 9. To fasten the carabiner hook on the front side of the backpack from the leather band, cut a length of 8 cm, and cut the rest of the leather band into 2 equal sections for the straps.
