The inability to relax and to arrange small holidays for yourself ultimately affects health.

Our everyday life consists of a series of worries, worries, anxieties and fears of not being able to do something - all this leads to a state of chronic stress. What masks conceal its consequences and how to "neutralize" them?
Solid nerves
How often do we hear this phrase! Alas, in the modern world it is almost impossible to avoid stress, especially for residents of megacities. The intense rhythm of life, information pressure and an excess of communication lead to burnout, disagreements at work, in the family, which then develop into internal conflicts. Man becomes at odds with himself. Irritability, tears, physical and mental exhaustion, sleep disturbance are typical signs of a neurosis. Fortunately, this disorder is temporary and can be dealt with. The main thing is to break the protracted chain of experiences and useless fears.
Advice:
• Learn to disconnect, filter information, avoid what can upset or alarm. Watch less news programs, crime chronicle, thrillers and action movies. To restore emotional comfort and concentrate on solving your own problems, sometimes it’s enough to turn off these sources of negative emotions.
• Talk more often with fun, positive people, watch comedies, and do things that are fun. Or do something useful and necessary for those who live nearby. After all, giving pleasure to others is a sure way to your own spiritual well-being.
EXIT FOR EMOTIONS
Psychologists and doctors say that negative emotions must be thrown out, otherwise they will become a time bomb for health. People who are used to hiding their experiences often have heart problems and develop diseases associated with impaired immunity. In addition, they are more susceptible to various harmful addictions, for example, they smoke more or resort to the “help” of alcohol in order to relax and openly pour out the soul of their neighbor. However, alcohol never relieves mental pain, but only drives it deeper, then causing physical malaise and addiction.
Advice:
• If you are overwhelmed with emotions, give them a way out. Sing, cry, beat the pillow, speak out to a friend. Do not keep everything to yourself!
• "Sorrow and cry frankly" helps the diary. Spill your grievances and feelings on paper - this will help to dump the negative load accumulated during the day.
• If you can’t cope with emotions on your own, do not hesitate to contact a specialist psychotherapist.
PRESSURE VESSELS
In a state of danger, the adrenal glands release stress hormones into the blood - adrenaline, norepinephrine and cortisol. They make the heart beat faster, narrow the blood vessels, increase the need for tissues and organs in oxygen.A prolonged intake of stress hormones in the blood depletes the body's reserve capabilities, disrupts the functioning of the vascular centers of the brain, creates the prerequisites for a persistent increase in blood pressure, and increases the load on the heart. All this can lead to a vascular crisis. Its symptoms are headache, dizziness, noisy intermittent breathing, heart palpitations, feeling in the mouth
dry, lump in throat, arms and legs colder.
Advice:
• Do not bring yourself to such a state. Learn to predict the "vegetative storm" in advance and meet it fully armed. If you have an unpleasant conversation, drink a soothing cocktail of medicinal herbs about an hour before it. Herbal collection is best prepared in advance and kept at hand precisely for such cases. Just be careful! There are contraindications: allergy, individual intolerance to the components of the collection.
• If you couldn’t avoid problems one way or another, try switching: do a little warm-up, walk along the street or just up and down the stairs, do the cleaning, wash the dishes. It doesn’t even matter what you do. The main thing - do not sit idle: any muscle work helps to cope with stress, because it activates blood circulation and removes hormones from the body that cause nervous tension.
ALL IS WRITTEN ON THE FACE
Often, it is the skin that becomes the first victim of chronic stress. Constantly experiencing negative emotions, we expose it to the strongest oxidizing processes, as a result of which it becomes dehydrated, loses firmness and elasticity, becomes dry, lacks vitamins and antioxidants. Moreover, due to an immune malfunction, allergic reactions in the form of rashes, which are sometimes difficult to get rid of, often join this "bouquet" of troubles. No wonder they say that nervous and skin diseases go side by side.
Tip:
• If you are stressed, carefully monitor your skin and regularly massage your face. Relaxing facial muscles helps relieve general stress and calm down.
The Rule of Three
DREAM: the lack of a full night's rest aggravates irritability and makes a person even more vulnerable and vulnerable during the day. Can't fall asleep in any way? Drink half a glass of warm milk in the evening with 1 tbsp. a spoonful of honey.
LAUGHTER: provides active production of the hormone of happiness - serotonin, which neutralizes the action of stress hormones. Psychologists are sure: laughter is a great cure for many diseases. It relieves fatigue, mental strain, strengthens the cardiovascular system, normalizes blood pressure.
SPORT: Especially useful for stress jogging, swimming, skiing, biking, walking, tennis. Oriental practices such as yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation will also help tidy your nerves. Such classes are held in many sports centers.
