The winner of the BURDASTYLE fall-winter 2014 contest, Zlata Stepanova from Omsk, is an amazing creative person, and also a wonderful mother of three boys and a loving wife.

Zlata, like "Spring" by the great Italian painter Sandro Botticelli, from the first minutes of his acquaintance amazes with its harmony and peacefulness, warmth and tenderness. And this is no accident. Zlata grew up in a family where love, understanding, kindness, respect and good upbringing are the main components of the worldview of all households.
To dress beautifully, Zlata learned from her mother, who knits and sews well. It was she who instilled in her daughter a taste and desire to look different than everyone else. That is why the whole wardrobe of Zlata is things sewn by her hands.
Curiosity brought us to our site in 2008. Glancing at the pages of Burdastyle.ru, she was no longer able to sleep peacefully. The work of our members of the forum struck her, especially since most of them are ordinary women, not professional seamstresses, the same as Zlata herself. Sewing for Zlata is an integral part of her life, a way to express herself, show her inner world, her individuality. “It's like music, only in clothes,” says Zlata. She selects models at the level of intuition. But still gives preference to the classics, with a complex cut and interesting details. Among her favorites are dresses and evening fashion. Although those who follow the work of Zlata on our website, noticed that recently her wardrobe has replenished with casual-style models. Zlata is trying with interest different styles, fabrics and combinations of both models and textures of materials. Her "crazy" creative ideas sometimes explode the site's photo forum.And it becomes an inspiration for many, dispels doubts, helps to make a choice. And how she skillfully “melts” with the wrong side of the product is a real art. I examined all the details, and believe me, they are impressive. Each seam of the product and even the sections of the hem are edged. The workmanship is amazing.
Zlata has a musical education. She graduated from a music school, in the class of choral conducting. He has been working by profession for the last four years on weekends. Zlata regent of the youth choir at the Holy Assumption Cathedral in Omsk. In her choir, children from 6 to 16 years old sing. Some study in music schools, while others do not even know the notes. Zlata accepts all children into the choir without exception: "All children are musically gifted, just someone has these abilities more pronounced, and someone needs to make great efforts". The choir’s repertoire includes not only sacred music, but also folk songs in adaptations, as well as songs of a patriotic nature. Zlata teaches children to sing, and they teach her to love, because: "Only children can love sincerely and genuinely!"
Zlata has been involved in music since she was 5 years old, music is her life: "I am happy that I have the opportunity to do what I love. And church music is a very special, incomparable art. It is music turned inside a person. It touches the most hidden corners of the soul, and makes a person think, worry and change."

This is not the first time Zlata has participated in the BURDASTYLE contest. But each time, sending her work, she hoped for luck.And this time she became the winner of the main competition. Arrival in Moscow, acquaintance with the editors of your favorite magazine and website, fabulous shooting, prizes, a park in Tsaritsyno and an amazing atmosphere conquered Zlata. But another pleasant surprise for her was a meeting with the members of the forum at the Burda Academy immediately after the filming, which continued the next day with a walk through the center of Moscow. Visiting sights and talking with non-virtual girlfriends is not easy to combine. But everyone was very fun and interesting. It seemed that we all knew each other a long time ago. And today they decided to escape from the daily routine and finally meet. We walked along the paved area, took pictures on the background of the Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral and the Moscow River. And even heavy rain could not prevent such a warm meeting. From his cold autumn drops we took refuge in one of the cozy Moscow cafes. It is impossible to get enough communication for such a short period of time, especially when the latter flies at the speed of light. Everyone who talked with Zlata these days felt her sincere openness and cordiality on themselves. The breakup was not easy, but with hope for a future meeting.
