How to make a rose from fabric, without using special tools?
Well, for example, like this.
1. Fold the strip in half. I shift the long sections relative to each other by about 5-6 cm. The workpiece begins to “mow”. I sew a strip on the overlock. The beginning and end of the workpiece smoothly cut along an arc.
2. Now I need a bobbin with a thread-rubber band. I set the largest stitch on the sewing machine and sew the blank along the overlock to the width of the foot (about 0.5 cm from the cut). The ends of the threads must be tied, otherwise there is a chance to pull out the gum with further manipulations. The workpiece is evenly gathered on a string.
3. Begin to form a rose. I twist a little (like a fist) the beginning of the workpiece, construct the middle of the flower. From the wrong side I sew the ends of the bag manually. It is better to work with a double thread, more reliable))) from the inside out.
4. Then just “wrap” our bud with new layers, stitching all the time. I don’t stretch the elastic, I don’t pull it tight, otherwise the rose will be very dense.
5. I twisted it all, from the wrong side I flashed it back and forth several times for reliability of fastening. She spread her flower with her fingers. Great, the rose is ready.
6. Now the leaves. For leaflets, I cut a circle, outlining a coffee plate. Then she cut the circle into two halves.Folded in a triangle and sewed on the straight side. I cut a corner and turned to the right side. Putting together the slices along the arc, I manually stitch the seam “forward needle”. Small stitches, double thread. I pull the petal onto the thread and flash it back and forth several times. The petal is ready.
7. I have three petals. I placed them around the rose and sewn to the wrong side of the rose.
8. Now the most interesting thing is decoration. Here is how your imagination will inspire you. I have two loops from a thin contrasting ribbon and a mesh outlet. There may be feathers, wide ribbons, spirals of fabric, lace, etc., etc.
9. And mount. I have this brooch. So I cut a circle out of felt, the size of it so that it covered my entire wrong side. A brooch pin was sewn to him, shifting it slightly higher than the middle of the felt circle. And then she sewed a circle over the edge to the inside of the rose, also shifting the circle a little higher than the middle. These upward shifts are necessary so that the pricked rose, when worn, does not "fall" down under its own weight. Although it is not heavy, but still.
In the last photo it is clearly seen that the flowers, even folded with the same hands with a difference of a day, do not work out the same. But after all, the same roses do not happen right?
